Some teachers do care

My name is Lillie, and I’m a sophomore. My parents have been divorced for months, and it’s starting to sink in.

I had been considering suicide for months, and I don’t have enough space to tell all of the reasons why. Parents: divorced, dad: nowhere, sister: drug addict.

My schoolwork was going downhill, so my science teacher pulled me aside and asked if there was anything going on he should know about. He said I’d been the topic of some of the meetings the 2.0 teachers had been having, and they were worried.

I’ve never felt more cared for or loved in my life.

I put my trust in them, and they are currently helping me through my problems and my work is slowly going up.

There are teachers who care. Find one and ask for help. Now that I know someone cares, I’m slowly getting happier everyday.
