Overcoming anorexia with positive thinking

My name is Kayla, and I am now 18 years old. I have been battling anorexia since I was 16 years old, and to this day still struggle with it. I was hospitalized three times for it, but I overcame it with therapy, intensive treatment, and counseling. It’s a very hard thing to overcome, but what helps me a lot is trying to stay positive, thinking about the positive side of life and what I have going for myself. When I eat, I distract myself with positive thoughts rather than thinking about food.

    Hey Kayla, that is awesome! I am trying to work on positive thinking while eating… I started off by sitting with a staff of mine and it was hard because I secretly had to count how many things I ate so when she left I would write it down. They ended up findin my book but Im learning to eat daily and every meal smile
