Focus on who you are, not other people

Over time, I went out with a boy. It was off and on for a while, and he had a thing with one of my close friends.  This year we started going out again for three months.

Unfortunately, we didn’t always agree on things.  Sometimes, he didn’t tell me the truth. So, we broke up and were both single for a while. Now, he is dating one of my friends, and they have an off/on relationship because of him not being truthful, yet again. I was upset at all the drama, everything that went on so far and the fact that one of my friends went out with the boy I thought I loved.

It made me realize that I shouldn’t have to worry about all this drama and be more involved in what makes me happy.  People who really care about me are what’s important. Also, I shouldn’t worry about these silly things growing up. There are so many more people I will meet throughout my life. I guess what I’m trying to say is, don’t get hung up on an old boyfriend or untrustworthy friends. Focus on what really matters in life and what makes you happy. And most of all, enjoy growing up.  It should be fun. Enjoy being with the people who really care about you and live life.
