I was 17 and it was my junior year when I got the phone call. I still remember it like it was yesterday. I woke up to a phone call from my friends to tell me that there been a accident and three of my friends didn’t make it. I couldn’t believe it. I had just seen the boys the day before. It really hit our school and our community hard with them being gone. It took me awhile to get used to them not being there. I have known these guys my whole life. But, with help from my friends and family, I got through this hard time. Some days, it’s still hard when I hear their songs, but I am a lot better now. I’m now able to stop going to counseling for this at my school.
