    Need some help please

    Hey guys,
It's been a while since I last posted anything, and for a while I was doing really well but things have got tough again. I've been getting in fights again and I can't sleep or eat hardly at all. Plus I've been having really bad flashbacks and panic attacks. I just feel super alone and need someone to talk to.

That sounds like it really sucks! I'm here if you want to talk. I'm confident you can get back to doing really well like you said you were doing! Things might be bad again now but they will be good again too! We are all here for you and you are not alone!

    Hello Guytb,

I’m really sorry to hear that things have been so tough lately. It was a good idea to come and talk with us here. It must feel so overwhelming, and exhausting as well. Is there someone in your life that knows what you’ve been struggling with lately? It can be helpful to have someone to talk with. Someone like a trusted family member or friend.

Some methods of managing panic attacks range from relaxation techniques like yoga, and meditation, self-talk, breathing exercises and being active with regular exercise like cardio or walking, jogging, or running (whichever you like the most!). Do something nice for yourself like working on a hobby or spending time with people that make you feel good.

Another thing you can do is call the helpline Your Life Your Voice at 1—800-448-3000 to talk any time you’d like. They’re available 24 hours a day/7days a week, free to call, confidential and secure! You can visit their page via THIS link to find out more about this and other options to contact them. Go ahead and save that information to keep it handy. They’re really helpful!

We’re here for you, and we truly care! Stay strong! I believe you’re going to get through this!
Note: The ReachOut Forums will be suspended after December 31, 2015. All existing threads and posts will still be available to read and review, but no new posts will appear. We hope to gain new funding, and be back soon, but in the meantime, here are some places where you can keep talking and get support:

    -- Your Life Your Voice
    -- Ok2Talk
-- American Foundation for Suicide Prevention
-- Trevor Project Trevorspace for LGBTQIA youth
    -- ReachOut Australia forums
